Stephen - volunteer

Stephen was born in Oldham Lancashire 1945. Moved to Cheshire 1954, educated at Sale Grammar School. Started farming on family farm Tabley in 1962, moving to Plumley 1988. Over 50 years dairy and beef production, now we keep sheep, and have diversified into other non-farming interests.

Married to Pat, 2 children Ben and Deborah and 7 grandchildren. Heavily involved in YFC; chairman of Knutsford 1965, then County chairman 1969.

Strong NFU supporter, Cheshire show involvement for over 40 years 25 as a director.Written 2 books including history of Cheshire show se photograph Served on Tabley Parish council since 1970.

Classic car enthusiast, now being chairman of Jaguar Drivers Club Cheshire area.
